Meet the Salisbury woman trying to raise the profile of skipping!

Becky Stagg first picked up a skipping rope during lockdown in February 2021 after realising running and weightlifting weren't for her.

The 22 year old quickly became hooked;

"The best bit about it is your whole body is constantly working, it's a whole body work out without you realising. It's so much cardio but you are building up so much strength and your fitness level keeps improving, improving and improving."

Becky says it's also boosted her mental health;

"Every day I look forward to going out and skipping!"

Becky regularly posts videos of herself skipping and now has more than 16,000 followers on Instagram.

"It was mad how it suddenly spiralled, I couldn't believe it. I've had so many lovely messages from people saying things like you've inspired me to skip. It's made me really happy knowing I've inspired other people."
