Salisbury woman admits involvement in Bristol riot

A 21 year old has pleaded guilty to a charge of violent disorder

A woman from Salisbury has admitted her involvement in a riot in Bristol, in March 2021.

21 year old Rose Lazarus appeared at Bristol Crown Court yesterday (Thursday 30th June) charged with violent disorder.

That's in relation to a riot which broke in central Bristol, following a 'Kill the Bill' demonstration against the Government's Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill.

Ms Lazarus has been released on bail to be sentenced on 8th August a the same court.

Avon and Somerset Police tell us 18 people have now been jailed for offences relating to the riot.

Collectively, they've received a combined prison sentence of 71 years and three months.
