Wiltshire Police is putting Salisbury City Centre in the spot light for it's Walk Away campaign.

The campaign is designed to promote the positive choices and actions that can be made to avoid confrontation and reduce violence on a night out.

It hopes to avoid one-punch encounters that can cause serious harm - and even death.

Officers will be focussing on men aged between 18 and 30 as they're statistically seen as most at risk, but there's responsibility on everyone to be active in looking for signs of potential aggression.

Wiltshire Police said on Facebook: "The campaign empowers men to look out for the early behaviours in themselves and their friends which might lead to altercations.

"We want mates, bystanders and anyone in a group to support each other. We encourage individuals to recognise those personal trigger points and WalkAway."
