A fast food outlet in Salisbury has been handed the lowest hygiene rating from the Food Standards Agency.

A food safety officer from Wiltshire Council rated Chick-O-Land zero out of five stars following a visit on the 24th February.

It means major improvements are needed particularly in the handling of food including preparation, cooking and storage and in the system and checks in place to make sure food is safe to eat.

The cleanliness and condition of the New Canal premises also need to be improved.
