Salisbury supermarket worker injured while tackling suspected shoplifters

A Salisbury supermarket worker's suffered an arm injury, while tackling a pair of suspected shoplifters.

The male staff member at Sainsbury's in The Maltings tried to stop two males from leaving the store at around 3.40pm last Tuesday (2nd August), due to concerns about shoplifting.

The pair assaulted the employee, which led to him needing hospital treatment for an arm injury.

CCTV images of two people that police want to speak to have been released.
