A Sea Shanty concert in Wilton has raised almost £3,000 for the Salisbury RNLI branch.

Held at St Mary & St Nicholas Church, almost 200 people attended to the concert which included two Sea Shanty choirs.

All male group The Navy Larks and female-only group All At Sea, led by Kate Edgar, sang at the concert.

The money will be used to support the lifesaving activities at Mudeford Lifeboat station, the closest one to Salisbury.

The branch committee have thanked Kate Edgar, the choirs and the church for their support.
