Salisbury Reds reopens Community Fund to support local causes

The bus operator's offering funding, marketing help and even free travel

Salisbury Reds has reopened its twice yearly Community Fund for applications once again, and is looking for local groups to support.

The bus operator's previously supported causes like the city's DIGS disability group, St Michael's Community Care in Bemerton Heath and Bradbury House respite centre in Old Sarum.

The Fund's open to charities, schools, sports teams and community events.

Reds then given their chosen causes help with things like marketing and free travel, as well as financial support.

General manager, Andrew Sherrington said:

“At Salisbury Reds we’re proud to play an integral role within the local community. As well as providing bus services in the region, we endeavour to support and raise awareness for those doing excellent work on behalf of those living here.

“The Salisbury Reds Community Fund is open to everyone - from charities to sports teams - and we encourage anyone who needs a helping hand, however big or small, to apply.”
