Salisbury Police find stolen van in East Grimstead

It's the second stolen vehicle the force have located in a week

Salisbury Police received a call on Thursday 4th February at 11:30am to reports of a transit van being stolen overnight.

The force found the van, using a tracker, on Dean Road in Grimstead last night (Thursday 4th February.)

It was handed over to Hampshire Constabulary to deal with.

A Spokesperson from Salisbury Police said it was a busy night for the team after two vehicles were recovered:

"The first was a transit van stolen overnight and located using a tracker.

"The second was burnt out in Redlynch.

"Enquiries are ongoing by Hampshire and Wiltshire Police.

"This along with our continued patrols and vehicle stop checks."
