Police in Salisbury are carrying out more high-visibility foot patrols in the city centre, to deal with increasing reports of anti-social behaviour.

Officers have been speaking to members of the public and visiting local businesses to see how they can help tackle issues.

Wiltshire Police has made preventing anti-social behaviour one of the force's priorities, under the guise of Safer Public Spaces.

PC Broadberry went out on patrols on Saturday (8th June) and said:

“It’s important this kind of behaviour is reported to us so we are aware of what is going on and we can do our best to combat this.

“If you see any ongoing behaviour which you deem to be anti-social then please contact the police on 101 or 999 in an emergency so we can deal with it appropriately.

“We will continue to proactively work alongside other partners to target ASB and ensure Salisbury town centre is a safe place for everyone.”
