Wiltshire Creative is putting on their production, Little Robin Redbreast, in the run-up to Christmas, to entertain young children and their families.

It's a show that's previously been in The Salberg at Salisbury Playhouse, but it's being moved onto the main stage to allow for social distancing in their Covid-secure auditorium.

Performances will run from 1st to the 27th December.

Little Robin Redbreast is being staged at Salisbury Playhouse instead of this year's pantomime

WHAT'S IT ABOUT?

Little Robin Redbreast sees Robin getting very excited about Christmas.

His Mummy and Daddy get him an advent calendar to help him count down the days, and behind every door is a story.

Robin links together the pictures to make his 'magical, musical journey' to Christmas Day, meeting a 'street-wise squirrel, an attention-seeking mouse, a family of reindeer and a curious cat' along the way.

Wiltshire Creative Artistic Director Gareth Machin said:

"I'm really delighted that we're bringing back this popular, truly magical show for family audiences at Salisbury Playhouse this Christmas. Audiences loved this festive treat when we first staged it in 2017 and I hope that this year, especially, it will bring joy to more people young and old."

Tickets go on sale to Wiltshire Creative members on Friday 2nd October and on general sale on Friday 9th October.
