Salisbury City Hall Vaccination Centre will have a throne for children to sit on while they have their COVID-19 vaccinations to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

The centre is encouraging families to bring in their children aged 5-11 years old for their vaccinations as there will be Jubilee-themed colouring activities to do and take home.

There will also be a game to guess the number of sweets the Queen has hidden in her crown, which has been crocheted by one of the Centre’s team members.

Fiona Hyett, Operations Director of the Vaccination Centre, said:

”Our team has gone all out in coming up with creative ideas to celebrate the Jubilee and create a unique way to incorporate the Jubilee celebrations into our vaccination programme for children. They’re making for a fun festive environment for the children to get vaccinated and help keep themselves and their family safe.”

This crochet 'Crown Jewels' have been made by one of the staff at the vaccine centre
