Nine people in Orcheston, on Salisbury Plain, have netted £1,000 each through the People's Postcode Lottery.

The neighbours in Whatcombe Brow are celebrating after SP3 4RJ was announced a daily prize draw winner.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Matt Johnson sent his well-wishes to the winners:

"I’m thrilled for all of our winners in Orcheston today. I hope they enjoy spending the win and treat themselves with the prize money."

A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £600 million to date for charities and community groups around the world.

The Postcode Green Trust benefitted from this draw, with the money helping them promote conservation and protection of wildlife and habitats by encouraging enjoyment and promoting access to the outdoors.
