A 6 year old boy from Salisbury Plain is taking on a mammoth climbing challenge after being inspired by a survivor of the Manchester Arena terror attack.

Cian Paton is attempting to scale enough UK peaks to add up to 19 thousand feet - the equivalent height of Kilimanjaro.

He climbed Snowdon in the week of his 6th birthday and admits he's now got the 'mountain bug'!

Cian's been taking on the mountains with his dad Chris, who's set to climb the real Kilimanjaro next summer alongside Martin Hibbert who was paralysed in the bomb blast at Manchester Arena almost five years ago.

They're raising money for the Spinal Injuries Association.

Chris Paton is also a Tissue and Spinal Cord injury nurse, and so will be helping Martin with his medical needs on the trip.

Cian has so far raised more than £1,100 for his own challenge.
