It might be one of Salisbury's quirkier traditions, but we love it anyway!

The city's International Pancake Race is being held once again, on the High Street,

Teams from across the city will relay up and down from Waterstones to the Trussell Trust shop, flipping crepes along the way, in a bid to win the coveted Golden Frying Pan!

Races will start at 11.00am and continue until a winner is crowned.

The event's organised each year by St Thomas's Church and the Salisbury Foodbank.

There's a serious message to the fun though, as it aims to highlight local poverty, homelessness and social exclusion.

The weather forecast means the race is likely to remain on the High Street, but if there is rain, it'll be moved into the Cloisters at Salisbury Cathedral.
