Salisbury Mayor selects Christmas card competition winner
6-year-old boy's design is festive pick
The Mayor of Salisbury, Cllr Tom Corbin, has selected the winning design in his Christmas card competition.
Children up to the age of 13 years old were invited to take part.
The winner was 6 year old Farran with his entry 'Racing Reindeer.'
Cllr Corbin said:
“A huge thank you to everyone who took part in my Christmas card competition. I had a great time looking at all the fantastic entries and it was difficult choosing as the standard was so high this year."
"I chose Farran’s entry because it was bright, colourful and had great personality and imagination – well done Farran!”
The cards will be sent locally and to overseas destinations such as the Sister Cities in Maryland USA and the Twinning Cities of both Xanten and Saintes.
