Salisbury man jailed for breaching Domestic Violence Protection Order

60 year old Andrew Phillips has been sentenced to seven days in prison

A Salisbury man's been jailed for seven days, for breaching a Domestic Violence Protection Order.

Andrew Phillips, who's 60 and from Winding Way on Bemerton Heath, was arrested on Sunday (28th April) when he was trying to board a flight from Bournemouth Airport.

He's been sentenced at Poole Magistrates Court.

Detective Inspector Tom Ellerby, from Wiltshire Police said:

"Domestic Violence Protection Orders are designed to keep individuals safe, and breaching them is serious. Our priority is the safety and well-being of our community, and we will continue to enforce these orders to protect those at risk."
