A Salisbury man is due to stand trial later this year, accused of murdering his wife and daughter.

Marcin Zdun appeared before Winchester Crown Court this morning (Thursday 27th August).

The 40 year old, of Wessex Road in Salisbury, is charged with two counts of murder, in connection with an incident at his home on 1st June.

His wife, 40 year old Aneta Zdun and their daughter, 18 year old Nikoleta, both died at the scene.

They had suffered stab wounds.

There was a strong police presence around the Wessex Road area after the incident last June

Mr Zdun has today (Thursday 27th August) entered a not guilty plea and will stand trial on 30th November 2020.

He's been remanded in custody until that hearing.
