Salisbury man charged with two counts of assaulting emergency worker

He's been remanded in police custody

A Salisbury man has been remanded in Police custody after being charged with numerous offences - including two counts of assaulting an emergency worker.

Mark Day, 37, of Coberley Drive, Salisbury, faces eight charges following in incident in Salisbury.

Among his other charges are: assault, dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, failing to provide, possession of a class B drug and criminal damage.

He was remanded into custody after appearing in court.

DS Nugent of South CID said: “This was excellent teamwork which involved multiple departments including the neighbourhood policing team, CID, dogs unit and a police helicopter.

“I’d also like to thank the members of the public who called in about this incident – their support was invaluable.”
