Salisbury man arrested on suspicion of drug dealing

Police have been investigating reports of drug activity near Wellow.

Hampshire Police arrested a 28 year old man from Salisbury on Sunday morning (25th October) on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug.

Officers from the Test Valley Rural Neighbourhood Team had been looking into reports from residents about drug-related incidents near Canada Common.

The man arrested has since been released under investigation.

Police tell us enquiries are ongoing.

The arrest happened on Canada Road in Wellow on Sunday morning
