Salisbury District Hospital unable to hold virtual and telephone appointments

Salisbury District Hospital has been unable to hold telephone and virtual appointments for much of today (Friday 16th September) due to an IT fault.

It's been a nationwide issue, affecting some systems.

We're now told the situation has been resolved though.

Any affected patients will now be contacted to rearrange their appointments.

Salisbury NHS Foundation has apologised to patients for the worry and inconvenience caused.

They have also thanked them for their patience and cooperation.
