There's still time to get involved in the event later this month

More than 250 people are signed up to take part in this year's Midnight Walk, in support of Salisbury Hospice.

The five or ten mile routes will both start at Five Rivers Leisure Centre from 8.30pm on Saturday 27th April.

Hundreds of people are due to take on the 5 or 10 mile Midnight Walk later this month

There's a neon theme to the proceedings too, with walkers lighting up their way around the city centre and surroundings.

The Midnight Walk is a flagship fundraiser for Salisbury Hospice, which needs to raise £1.5 million a year to care for terminally ill patients, both on site and through their At Home services.

It's also a chance for people taking part to remember loved ones lost - with a special Memory Book to dedicate messages, within Salisbury Cathedral along the walking route.

Neon colours are actively encouraged for Midnight Walkers - in fact the brighter, the better!

The Salisbury Hospice charity say:

"The walk combines fun, lively and interactive elements whilst also providing more poignant opportunities of remembrance."

You can still sign up to take part on the Salisbury Hospice website, or event register on the night itself.
