Salisbury Hospice Charity's #VirtualWessexCountryFair that took place over the weekend (29th and 30th August) saw over 2,000 people tune in.

It's usually one of their biggest fundraisers of the year, but they were unable to hold the event as normal this year.

They tried to do as many activities as they normally do which included a virtual dog show, shopping village and a 'Meet the Team' event.

£1,360 was raised for the charity thanks to donations and games that took place over the weekend.

Abi Blake, Events Fundraiser said:

"As we were no longer able to host our fabulous Wessex Country Fair, we decided to go Virtual this year, and we can't thank our supporters enough, for getting on board with it and enjoying everything on offer."

The charity said the virtual dog show had hundreds of entries in 6 different categories.
