The Harvester restaurant on Salisbury's Castle Road will close this Sunday (6th February) for the work on the grade II listed building to get underway.

We're told the refurb will include all new interiors and furniture, a larger outdoor seating area and a bigger salad bar.

The restaurant's capacity will also be bumped up from 110 to 165.

20 new jobs will created due to the expansion.

George Bradu, General Manager at Harvester Salisbury, said:

“We’re so excited to reopen our doors and reveal our brand-new look to the people of Salisbury. We can’t wait to welcome guests, old and new, to join us for some great food in all-new surroundings.

“Myself and the rest of the Salisbury team are so pleased with the new look and we’re sure that our guests will feel the same way. We pride ourselves in providing an enjoyable and safe experience for our guests, and along with quality ingredients and flavours we offer great value with our two and three course lunch and evening set menus.”

The updated Harvester is due to reopen on Thursday 7th April.
