Winners of Salisbury Green Businesses announced

Six businesses have been recognised

Six businesses in Salisbury have been recognised for their efforts towards sustainability by the Green Business Association.

Created by Salisbury Transition City, the awards champion sustainable practices in local businesses.

"We are pleased to recognise these businesses for their contribution to local sustainability and the wider environment," said Sophia Karlberg, a project manager for the Salisbury Green Business Awards.

Since launching in 2014, more than 30 business in Salisbury its surrounding areas have engaged with the scheme for an assessment of current practices and areas of improvement.

Muse Hairdressing and Equilibria Massage were awarded the Gold Green Business Award and Webbed Feet was the first business to receive a gold award.

Indigo Landscape Architects (pictured above) were given a silver award.

Bronze awards were handed to Salisbury Escape Rooms (pictured below) and Casa Fina. Escape Rooms Owner Gavin said: "What a brilliant initiative for Salisbury, and for the world! Going through the Green Business Awards exercise has made us a lot more aware of how our business decisions impact the environment.”
