Search for Salisbury Good Samaritan after boy knocked off bike

The driver involved is believed to have left the scene without helping the lad.

Wiltshire Police is investigating after a nine year old boy was knocked off his bike on Westwood Road in Bemerton Heath.

This happened at around 10.30am last Friday (October 23rd), close to the entrance for Sarum Academy.

The boy suffered bruising and swelling to his legs, and his bicycle was damaged too.

It's believed the driver stopped at the scene, to check for damage on his vehicle, before driving away.

HUNT FOR GOOD SAMARITAN

Police tell us a man who was near to the scene at the time stopped to see if the boy was OK.

Officers would like to trace that person to see if they can help with enquiries.
