Despite the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, a new pet shop has opened in Salisbury city centre this week.

On Sunday (7th February) Clearway Pets became the newest resident in the Cross Keys Arcade.

They sell pet food and equipment, but also have two very special and regular visitors.

Kevin and Bailey, both spaniels, have been overseeing the opening, keeping a careful eye on staff and shoppers alike!

The shop say the pair are still getting use to the amount of people coming and going.

Owners Mike and Emily Adamson told Greatest Hits Radio:

"We are so excited to be able to open in Salisbury, bringing a vast range of products to all pet owners! We cannot wait to meet our future customers, and look forward to welcoming our existing Clearway Kennels customers into the store!"

They are open Monday to Saturday 9am - 5pm and closed on Sundays.

It's the first retailer to open in Salisbury in 2021, after the 12 new businesses that set up shop in the city during the pandemic last year.
