Special delivery for Salisbury Foodbank
Who would you help with £200 of vouchers?
Salisbury Foodbank’s local postman arrived with a very special delivery for them earlier this week.
Darren James was recently awarded £200 worth of vouchers by Royal Mail for long service.
He decided to spend them on a variety of homeware, which Darren then donated to the foodbank.
Salisbury Foodbank don’t just help people with food. They’re on hand to help people who have fled abusive relationships, leaving home with just a bag of their most prized possessions and a few clothes.
Darren donated items such as towels, teacups, kettles, cutlery and plates, all critical items we think about when moving into a new home.
Donations like Darren’s allow the foodbank to assist people in settling into their new homes and making a fresh start.
