Work to fix the heating and hot water for the swimming pools at Salisbury's Five Rivers Leisure Centre has been completed.

The main and teaching pool have already reopened this morning (Friday 14th June) with the Beach Pool up and running again from 3.30pm.

They've been shut since Tuesday (12th June) while engineers were on site.

Customers have been advised that any swimming lessons missed as a result of the closure will be reflected in their July payment.

Cllr Ian Blair-Pilling, Cabinet Member for Leisure, said:

“I thank everyone for their patience and understanding while we made these urgent repairs, and I’m pleased that swim activities at the centre are fully up and running once again.”
