Pre-season preparations begin for Salisbury FC
The Whites first team squad are back in training
Salisbury FC have begun their preparations for their return to the National League South.
The Whites have got back into training, starting with assessments of their fitness levels.
Brian Dutton's backroom team have put the players through their paces and took measurements like mobility readings and body fat measurements.
The players have also taken on a 5-0-5 test to measure how quickly players can stop, turn and accelerate again over five metres.
That was followed for most by the tough Yo-Yo test, which involves running between markers placed 20 meteres apart at increasing speeds until exhaustion, is a in a maximal aerobic endurance fitness test.
Pre-season games for Salisbury FC begin on Saturday 13th July with a trip to Laverstock and Ford FC.
They're followed by an away game at Shaftesbury on Saturday 20th July and home fixtures against Woking FC, Winchester City and Gosport Borough on Saturday 27th July, Tuesday 30th July and Saturday 3rd August respectively.
The Whites will kick off their National League South season proper on Saturday 10th August, but the fixture list isn't due to be released until 10th July.
