Supporters parking at Salisbury's Ray Mac stadium will face increased prices on matchdays for the new season.

The club will now charge £2 to park at the ground when Brian Dutton's side are at home in the National League South.

Club bosses say it's aimed at finding a more permanent fix to the potholes in the car park.

The club said: "As many of our supporters know, the state of the car park has been deteriorating over the past few years, with many potholes.

"Filling in the holes has proved no more than a very temporary fix.

"It is, therefore, intended to use the additional car park income to contribute to a longer-term solution."

As the White's promotion bid gathered momentum last season, crowd numbers were higher as the season drew to its climax - but the pressure on the car park meant some fans had to be turned away.

The club says it's hoping to work with a partner organisation close to the stadium to provide additional parking near the ground.
