Whites announce two new signings
Noah Coppin and Josh Gould have joined Salisbury FC
Salisbury FC have confirmed the signing of two new players ahead of next season.
Forward Noah Coppin has signed from Southern Premier Champions Weston-super-Mare, while ex-Swansea Academy Goalkeeper Josh Gould has also joined.
Whites boss Brian Dutton said he believed the club now have not only the best goalkeeper in their league, but also the league above.
Dutton said: “He is a very commanding Goalkeeper with an excellent pedigree having been a Swansea City FC Academy graduate.
“Josh is a real statement signing of how much the Chairman and directors at Salisbury are wanting the good times to return to the Ray Mac.”
The 26-year-old has also represented Ebbsfleet United, Bath City and Swindon Supermarine.
Dutton believes that Coppin, 21, can be a “star” for the club:
"He’s a player that’s just won promotion with Weston which shows the calibre of player we’re getting and if he reaches his full potential, I am sure we have a star within our ranks."
Coppin, formerly of Chippenham scored once in six appearances on loan at Weston last November, before making the move permanent in February of this year.
The pair join other new recruits Charlie Gunson, Tom Leggett, James Harding and Theo Lewis, as the team hopes to improve on this seasons 15th place finish.
