Dogs waiting in Salisbury waiting for their forever home have had a special visit from one of the south's top social media stars.

Cleaning content creator Laura Mountford has taken her skills to Dogs Trust Rehoming Centre in Newton Tony.

Known for grime-busting hacks and tips on cleaning, Laura freshened up the kennels to show the importance of cleanliness that many people might overlook.

Laura's day at the centre started with cleaning the kennel of two-year-old St Bernard cross, Bruce.

Using pet friendly products, the space got a deep clean from top to bottom with all the bedding being washed.

The clean up was completed with a new set of exciting toys for Bruce to play with.

Laura said, “Having a fresh kennel is such an important part of caring for these dogs. They deserve to enjoy a clean, comfortable space while they wait for their forever homes. The love and dedication that the staff put into this place is truly inspiring. It’s not just about finding homes for these dogs, it’s about giving them the best possible care while they wait to be rehomed.”

Claire Rowe, Rehoming Centre Manager at Dogs Trust Salisbury says “We’re incredibly grateful to Laura for spending the day with us at the centre. Her visit has brought much-needed attention to the work we do here, and we hope it inspires others to also get involved in whatever way they can.”
