Salisbury District Hospital say A&E fully functional during junior doctors strike
It's day two of the industrial action
Salisbury District Hospital say emergency care is still available, despite Junior Doctors walking out for a second day.
Patients are asked to still attend their appointments unless they are told otherwise.
There are currently operating a Bank Holiday level service.
A spokesperson for the hospital said:
"The focus of the hospital remains to maintain safe and compassionate patient care.
"Our Accident & Emergency Department is fully functional and we have safe staffing levels for all inpatients.
"If you need to visit A&E please do so, and our Maternity Team will continue to safely deliver babies as they do 24 hours a day.
"Many of our outpatient clinics and planned surgery may be unable to go ahead as planned.
"Patients impacted will be contacted directly by the hospital. If you are not contacted directly we would ask you to attend as planned."
People who need to attend the hospital during the industrial action are also being asked to be aware that staff will be stretched, so they may have to wait longer or to have appointments delayed.
