One of the most popular events of Salisbury's festive calendar will return this year - and raise money from some local good causes.

The famous Christmas Tree Festival will be back at St Thomas's Church from Tuesday 29th November to Sunday 4th December.

As ever, we'll be able to see more than 100 trees, decorated by the city's charities, community groups, schools, businesses and others besides.

They'll be dotted around the church, with some musical accompaniment throughout too.

Last year more than 9,000 people went through the doors to see the trees.

Entry will be free once again, with donations welcomed.

For 2022, the money raised will go towards the church itself and their nominated charities - Alzhiemers Support Salisbury and Friends of Salisbury Shopmobility.

Over £13,000 was brought in last time around.

Live music is played throughout the festival to entertain visitors viewing the trees
