Salisbury's Christmas activities announced for 2024

There'll be some familiar festivities, with some new additions

The festive season will officially arrive in Salisbury in just a weeks time, with the City Council revealing their Christmas activities for 2024.

It'll all begin on Friday 15th November, with the Christmas Begins event.

That'll be held in the Market Place and Guildhall Square and will include switching on this year's lights, along with live music, entertainment, stalls and plenty of festive cheer.

There's not long to go until the festive season kicks off in Salisbury

The event will also kickstart the Christmas in the Square event - which will run through until January 5th 2025 on the Guildhall Square.

Food, drink and live music evenings will be held there, along with a Santa's Grotto until Christmas Eve.

Every child visiting will get a gift to take home, after meeting the big man himself and passing on those lists!

Entry is £8 per little one taking part in the experience |newtab), which also includes festive storytelling.

The Christmas Begins event on November 15th will bring in the season, with family activities in the Market Place and Guildhall Square

New for this year as well will be a Gift Fayre between 22nd November and 19th December.

This will be an enclosed and covered shopping experience, with over 20 local artisans holding stalls inside.

Festive Markets will also be back to join them on the Sundays in December running up to Christmas (1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd).
