Salisbury's annual Charter Service taking place today
It's held every year to honour the 1227 Charter that helped form the city
A special church service is being held in Salisbury this morning (Sunday 4th February) to celebrate an important city document.
The annual Charter Service is taking place at St Thomas's Church from 10.15am, attended by Salisbury's Mayor and City Councillors, but open to all to attend.
It's to mark the anniversary of the 1227 Charter being signed in Salisbury.
That confirmed the relocation of the city's cathedral from Old Sarum to its current site, or New Sarum.
The document also sets out traditions that still remain to this days - like having the Charter Market every Tuesday and Saturday and the Charter Fair each October.
For anyone who can't make it along to the service, it's being live-streamed on YouTube.
There'll also be a procession of dignitaries attending from Salisbury Guildhall to St Thomas's from 10.00am.
