The City Council's made the decision

Salisbury's flagship Charter Market won't be going ahead for its first Saturday edition of 2023 tomorrow (7th January).

The City Council's announced the news on their social media.

They've blamed the weather forecast for making the market potentially unsafe for shoppers and traders.

Heavy rain is expected throughout tomorrow in Salisbury, but some strong winds, especially first thing in the morning when the stalls would be set up.

Salisbury City Council's apologised for the inconvenience.

The Charter Market is scheduled to return as normal on Tuesday next week (10th January).
