Paul Millard, from the organising committee, said: “We started this event to say thank you to the Bath Cancer Unit and the incredible work it does for so many local people – but it’s also a fantastic night out for local people which now raises money for an extremely worthwhile – but wider – group of charities and good causes.”
The evening, attended by 140 people, included an auction, raffle and music from live bands, while a two-course meal was prepared by the chefs of village pub, The Three Daggers.
Stars Appeal are the charity for Salisbury Hospital and Re:Act provide direct support where it’s needed in emergencies.
