Salisbury Cathedral will be back on our screens tonight (23rd November) in an episode of Who Do You Think You Are?'

The BBC show sees famous faces trace their family trees with this week's programme focusing on Joe Sugg.

The celebrity YouTuber, actor and former Strictly Come Dancing contestant visited the world famous spire in the Summer to film the show.

Joe did some filming for the programme in the Deanery in mid-July, with the blessing of Dean of Salisbury, The Very Reverend Nicholas Papadopulos.

The BBC says Joe, who was born in Lacock in Wiltshire, uncovers some 'incredible stories' in his family tree.

It's not known exactly what the link is with the Cathedral but the episode guide focuses says;

"Joe, very aptly, discovers a great-great-great-grandfather who was involved in the earliest days of communications technology – in electrical telegraphs. Pushing further back, he finds seven-times-great-grandparents who fled religious persecution in France, and a goldsmith who survived the Great Fire of London."

Joe's big sister and fellow social media star, Zoe, also makes an appearance.

The show airs at 9pm on BBC One.
