A special light show which takes over Salisbury Cathedral for a few days will be returning later this year.

It's the third time that Sarum Lights is being held in the city, all of which have had different themes.

This November the light displays and photos will take you through the Renaissance period.

A scene from last year's event

Luxmuralis, who is the artistic team behind the project, have made the show so it explores from the dark ages to modern day civilisation in the 14th to 17th Centuries.

Last year it looked at Heaven and Earth.

It returns from November 8th to November 11th.

Tickets for the event go on sale on Monday 12th September.
