Salisbury Cathedral's nesting pair of Peregrine Falcons have laid their first egg.

It arrived on Saturday morning, three days earlier than the first egg of 2024, and there's hope that up to three more are on the way.

The pair have been seen courting over the last few weeks.

Peregrine eggs take around 33-35 days to hatch, which means these eggs could hatch around Easter Weekend next month.
