The four peregrine falcon chicks born at Salisbury Cathedral this year have been named.

In a video on the Cathedral's Facebook page, Clerk of Works Gary Price drew the four names from a hat.

One of the three boys and the only female have been named after two members of the Cathedral works yard team, with the two remaining boys named by submissions from the public.

The chicks were successfully ringed last week with ID tags allowing them to be spotted and tracked in later life.

The ID tags have three large capital letters.

The male chick named after a works yard staff member has the 'XLC' tag and is named after stonemasonry apprentice, Joe.

The female is called Lorriane, who is Mr Price's PA!

The two remaining males are called Wilbur and Norman.
