Salisbury businesses have come together to make sure children being supported by Salisbury Foodbank still get an Easter treat.

Over 175 chocolate eggs have been donated to the city's service, to be redistributed through emergency food parcels.

Companies including Personnel Placement, Salisbury Glass, Myddleton and Major, Salisbury Racecourse and Odstock Medical handed in generous donations from their staff.

The project's been aimed at 'putting real smiles on children's faces' this Easter.

The eggs have all been dropped off at the Salisbury Foodbank warehouse, to be added to food packages.

Any that are left over will be passed on to the Sturgeons Children's Charity, which works closely with the Foodbank throughout the year.
