Salisbury BID renewed until 2029

It's the BID's third term

Businesses in Salisbury have voted to renew Salisbury BID for a third 5-year term.

The organisation, which is funded by businesses in the area, saw 92% of voting businesses in favour by number of them continuing to support the sector.

BID chief executive, Robin McGowan, said: "We are grateful to the businesses who came out in such numbers and showed their support for the continuation of the BID. We thank you again for taking the time to vote and look forward to working with you over the next five years."

There was a 60% turnout for the vote, with 96% voting in favour by rateable value.

It means the BID will continue to support business interests in Salisbury until 31st March 2029.

Keith Hanson, Chair of Salisbury BID and Director of recruitment agency Personnel Placements, said:

“It’s really heartening to see so many businesses took the time to vote in support of Salisbury BID. It's an outstanding vote of confidence that strongly demonstrates the importance of the BID, our many achievements so far, and our aim for even greater success in the future.”
