Salisbury businesses are set for a new leadership team to look after their interests.

The city's BID's (Business Interest District) Chief Executive, Robin McGowan, is stepping down from his role after a decade of service.

Mr McGowan has led the BID since it's inception in 2014, helping to drive projects that have boosted the city's high street.

His departure follows that of Keith Hanson as Chair of the Board of Directors last year.

Dean Speer has filled his role on an interim basis.

However, Mr Hanson's position is to be permanently taken by Elizabeth Coombes, owner of Artisan Spirit and Wine Co on Winchester Street.

She will be joined on the board of directors by another local store owner, Rachel Tribbeck, of H R Tribbeck & Son on Bridge Street.

The BID is still recruiting for a new CEO to help the organisation progress.
