Salisbury is coming together today (Sunday 30th June) to celebrate the Armed Forces community.

The city has a proud history with the military and has hosted the national Armed Forces Day events in the past.

Today, military displays will be held in the Market Place and the Guildhall Square between 10.00am and 4.00pm.

There will also be a fun fair, live music and children's activities.

While Armed Forces Day actually falls on a Saturday, Salisbury usually holds its celebrations on the following day, to avoid a clash with the Charter Market.
