Salisbury add to striking options with Chippenham forward signing
Craig Fasanmade scored 14 goals in the National League South last season
Salisbury's preparations for life in the National League have continued with the signing of Craig Fasanmade.
The forward joins the Whites from Chippenham Town, having scored 14 goals from 46 National League South appearances last season.
Fasanmade, 24, said: "I get a really good sense of what the club’s about and what the fans bring. Speaking to the manager, he said that it’s a really good atmosphere, so I’m looking forward to come in and experience that myself.
“I’m excited to come and see the ground, and I’m looking forward to getting going.”
Whites boss Brian Dutton said he's 'delighted' to have the forward in his squad.
"He’s a player I have monitored for the last few seasons. He is a versatile striker who can operate anywhere across the front line.
“He’s another player I feel is on the cusp of having an outstanding season at the level, having gained good experience recently. I’m sure he will excite and enthuse our fans next season.”
Fasanmade started his career at Oxford City, before going on to represent Hungerford, Wealdstone and Hemel Hempstead before joining Chippenham.
His signing follows the extension of last seasons top scorer, Noah Coppin.
The striker scored 26 goals in the Southern Premier League, including a penalty in the play-off final against AFC Totton.
