It's believed thieves got into a property on Chatham Close between 8.50 and 9.40am on Saturday morning (5th December).

Among the items taken was a large safe, which is thought to have been carried out by two people and put into a dark coloured car - possibly a VW Passat.

A third person was waiting in the car to drive them away and onto Stratford Road.

The burglary happened on Saturday morning in Chatham Close

Wiltshire Police are hoping that as it happened at breakfast time, someone might have seen what happened. They've said:

"This took place during daylight hours at a time when people would be getting up and starting their day. It is likely that many people have seen something that might be of help to us.

"If you were in the area at the time, please cast your mind back to Saturday morning and let us know if you remember anything unusual. We would also like to hear from anyone with dash cam or doorbell camera footage that could assist us."

If you can help with any information, you're asked to call officers on 101, quoting log number 54200120753.
