Rockbourne Fair opens at Salisbury Racecourse
We can support the Stars Appeal simply by shopping at the event
One of Stars Appeal's biggest fundraisers opens today (Wednesday 18th October) at Salisbury Racecourse.
The Rockbourne Fair, which is on until Friday 20th October, features over 100 stalls and allows us to shop whilst supporting Salisbury District Hospital.
Last year’s event raised £51,000 for the Stars Appeal, which goes towards the £1 million needed each year to provide services and equipment to our local hospital, over and above what the NHS can provide.
Anna Aertssen, Breast Surgeon at Salisbury Hospital and Stars Appeal Ambassador said:
“Launching the Rockbourne Fair is always an honour, but feeling the vibrant energy from both the shoppers and stallholders today truly emphasises the community spirit this event fosters.
“Remember, every purchase made is a step closer to our goal of raising £1 million for the Stars Appeal, enhancing care for patients at Salisbury District Hospital.”

The Fair's open between 10.00am and 8.00pm on Thursday 19th; and between 9.30am and 3.00pm on Friday 20th.
