Three fire crews have tackled a house fire this morning (Monday 10th July) in Harnham.

Crews from the Salisbury and Wilton stations attended the fire on Richards Way, where they were confronted with a fire in a first-floor bedroom.

When the crews arrived, the occupants were still inside the property, although they were speaking to the Control Firefighter who answered the 999 call, who was providing reassurances to them.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze with two hose reel jets and four breathing apparatus, whilst employing tactical ventilation to disperse the smoke.

An ambulance crew treated the occupants for suspected smoke inhalation.
